Hi everyone,
I heard "American Life" from Chicago Public Radio.
Host Ira Glass presented a brand new episode about "Plan B".
There is something you plan to do. Unfortunately Plan A was not so positiv as you thought it will be and so you switched to Plan B.
Which I think how it goes from most of us.
Glass summarized the result of an informal survey. 100 people were asked whether they are living their Plan A or the back up Plan B. Only 1 person raised her hand for
Plan A. It was the youngest person in the room and 23 years old.
How many of you are still on Plan A?
Have you a Plan B in your head or already switched to Plan B?
The short stories are really funny:

I prefers to do plan A if its possible, but if I cant do plan A , I begin with plan B immediately.
ReplyDeleteNow I am working with plan A. I have more than this plan but I will wait to see the result of this plan if its succeed or not then I will decide what to do.
Hi lucky guy,
ReplyDeleteI only know some people who follow Plan A and you are now one of them.
Some years ago I started also with Plan A but very soon I felt uncomfortable with it. So I tried Plan B. Life can be very exciting. At the moment I m following Plan C.
Thanks for sharing this summary. Living Plan A, or Plan B or Plan C is an interesting idea, especially in our current economy. A lot of peoples' plans might be changing right now!
ReplyDeleteI'm working on Plan B right now. When I finished college I thought I would be a landscape architect, but I didn't really like it. I didn't have a Plan B in mind, but eventually I decided to study teaching ESL. I'm not too upset that Plan A didn't work out - I love Plan B.
I wonder what other students in our class think?
A few years ago, I thought planA was boring and started the planB, however, I'm not sure what plan I have now... The older you get, the more plans come up to you. Plans are infinite. I kind of think I should've stuck with the planA though...
ReplyDeleteHi Carina,
ReplyDeleteI listened to the broadcast, it is very interesting. But to go directly through your questions, I have a plan B,but I'm still on plan A because I haven't failed it yet.I can't go on plan B if plan is still doing ok,right? and if after I go to plan B it doesn't work well I will pass to plan C and so on. For now, as I mentioned above, I am still on plan A.
